If you have resources to share, here’s how we hope you’ll direct them — Indigenous nations and your community first, this directory last.
1. Pay rent to Native nations first
This directory exists on stolen Indigenous land. Before giving anywhere else — including here — we ask that you pay rent to the Native nations whose land you live and work on. It is the most direct way to return resources to the people this land belongs to. You can read more in our Land & Labor Acknowledgement.
2. Give regular mutual aid
We also encourage ongoing mutual aid — direct, no-strings support to the people most harmed by systemic oppression: disabled people, Black, Indigenous, and other people of the Global Majority, trans and queer people, undocumented and immigrant people, unhoused people, sex workers, and others pushed to the margins. Mutual aid is solidarity, not charity: small, regular giving to a local mutual aid network — or directly to people in need — does more, more reliably, than any one-time gift. If you’re not already plugged in, search for a mutual aid network in your area and set up a recurring contribution.
3. Support this directory
This directory is run entirely on donations — it has no ads, sells no data, and charges neither the facilitators who list groups nor the people searching for care. Donations cover the real costs of keeping it online and maintained so it can stay free and open to everyone.
Please give to Native nations and mutual aid first. If you still have something to share after that, a gift here helps keep the directory alive. And if you can’t give right now, that’s completely okay — sharing the directory with someone who needs it helps just as much.
