Teen Neurodiversity Process Group
Facilitated by Xyla Payne, LICSW
About this group
Many parents worry about their teen’s confidence, emotional regulation, executive functioning, and ability to advocate for themselves. This neurodiversity-affirming teen group is designed to help. Teens are welcomed into a gentle, supportive environment where ASD, ADHD, OCD, and other forms of neurodivergence are understood, not pathologized. The group builds practical tools while honoring each teen’s authentic communication and processing style. Teens receive support with masking, boundaries, executive functioning, and self-advocacy, along with skills for school stress, social dynamics, and daily routines. All groups led by a therapist using a strengths-based, affirming approach.
