Healing Beyond Belief; Religious Trauma Group Therapy
Facilitated by Ann Plana, MA, LMHCA
About this group
Religious trauma occurs when harmful beliefs or practices within a faith community cause emotional, psychological, or spiritual damage. Our therapy groups for religious trauma offer a safe, judgment-free space to share your story, connect with others, and begin your journey toward peace. Finding others who share similar experiences is an often overlooked aspect of healing. It not only helps you feel validated and seen, but it also supports healing around the sense of betrayal that is so often experienced in religious and spiritual environments. Group sessions are 90-minutes long and occur weekly, online via a HIPAA compliant platform.
