DBT Skills Group (Wednesday Evening)

About this group
If you battle with emotional ups and downs, struggling with managing distress, and have difficulty in relationships, this group may be a good fit for you. DBT is split into 4 topic areas, or modules- - Mindfulness (2 weeks at the start of EACH module)- Being in the present moment - Emotion Regulation (9 weeks)- Navigating intense mood swings - Distress Tolerance (8 weeks)- Managing distressful situations without making it worse - Interpersonal Effectiveness (7 weeks)- Building and maintaining healthy relationships Each module will focus on skills to help you better manage these areas of distress. Participants can only join at the start of a new module. When joining, you are committing to participating in the full module, as you will get the most out of it this way. Group is offered virtually.
