About this group

The Burned Out Therapist Group is an ongoing online Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy group for therapists in California and Washington who are experiencing burnout, overwhelm, compassion fatigue, or simply want more support in sustaining their work. Therapists spend so much of their lives holding space for others. This group offers a place to step out of the professional role, turn toward the parts carrying responsibility, caregiving, perfectionism, exhaustion, and other burdens of the work, and receive support from peers who understand. Sessions include guided IFS experiences, supported connection with your own parts, group reflection and interpersonal connection, and opportunities to cultivate greater Self-leadership, compassion, clarity, and sustainability in both work and life. The group is LGBTQIA+ and trans affirming, neurodivergent-affirming, open to all genders, and designed as a compassionate space where therapists can receive some of the care they routinely offer others.
